Education

Dr. Diana Storey obtained her undergraduate in psychology at The George Washington University in Washington, DC in 2008. She then moved to the DFW metroplex to pursue her graduate degree in Clinical Psychology at Argosy University, Dallas. She graduated with her doctorate in 2013 and began independent practice.

Experience

Dr. Diana Storey has over 10 years of experience in a wide range of clinical populations, settings, disorders and treatment modalities. She has conducted clinical assessments on individuals across the lifespan. Dr. Storey has seen clients in a variety of clinical settings including inpatient psychiatric, community agencies, private practice and skilled nursing.

Since 2015 and during the COVID-19 pandemic, Dr. Storey worked for the nation’s largest behavioral health provider in nursing and rehabilitation centers, MedOptions Inc. She traveled to a variety of skilled nursing centers providing clinical assessment, psychotherapy and psychoeducation to clients, their families and nursing staff. She collaborated with occupational/speech/physical therapy staff to assist patients with a variety of health conditions (amputations, hip replacements, infection) recover and get back home. She also assisted clients who were remaining in long-term nursing care (nursing homes) adjust to leaving their homes/belongings and accept changes in their physical and cognitive abilities.

Dr. Storey is currenty accepting new clients ages 16 and up. She enjoys working with clients on the following conditions:
